Weekly photo challenge – “hue of me”

Phalut or Falut is a beautiful Himalayan peak situated 3600 mt. Above the sea level and it is the
second highest peak of West Bengal ,India . Part of the Singalila Ridge in the Himalayas, it is located at the border of the Indian states of West Bengal and Sikkim and the country
of Nepal . It is located inside the
Singalila National Park

A beautiful scenic View of Himalayan peaks like Mt.Lhotse,Mt.Everest(highest peak) Mt.Makalu and Mt.Chomolonzo are seen from Phalut in West Bengal, India. Mt. Kanchenjunga is also seen from phalut.

Phalut and Sandakphu(21 kms from phalut) is the ultimate destination for mountain trekking . Trekkers from all around the globe visit this place. The season for trekking is March- April and October- November. Cannot be visited during winter because of severe cold and snowfall. In December- January temperature dips down to -20 degrees.

Above photo is of trekkers’ lodge at phalut. The yellow meadow is the hue of me right now.
