The Ripples

B-kiran Poetry & Musings

It was the morning time
I was resting on the park
Eastern sky was colored in Lime
Rising sun defeating the dark.

A dewdrop from the leaf
Dropped into the peaceful pool,
Created ripples across the reef
Was counting ripples like a fool.

Seeing the ripples my jovial face
Turned out to be a crushed can,
Like a defeated opponent in the race
Who can see the ripples* inside of men?

( *rise and fall of men’s unspoken emotions.)
